How to install drivers for MediaTek devices

MediaTek drivers are required to connect phone with PC for flashing ROM, adb connection and other tasks. This guide will help you  to install drivers in PC.

Requirements:

MediaTek Driver (Drive | Mirror)Driver Auto Installer (AFH) (for win XP)Lollipop ADB driver (Guide) (If you’re using Lollipop)

Note: If you’re using 64-bit win 8/8.1/10 then you need to disable driver signature verification to install unsigned drivers. Click here for guide.

Steps to install drivers:

Step 1: Extract/unzip downloaded zip file

Step 2: Open folder New inst. win 7&8×64

Step 3: If you are using 32-bit system then right click dpinst.exe and select Run as administrator. For 64-bit system right click DPInst64.exe and select Run as administrator.

Step 4: Click Next in driver installation wizard

Step 5: Click Install this driver software anyway if asked

Step 6: After successful installation click Finish and restart PC
