How to Root Samsung Galaxy Tab 3.8.0
Samsung Galaxy Tab 3.8.0 is a good tab from Samsung. Have many features that you can use. It has an excellent camera and good processor. P.S : It’s suitable for use and is capable of many things a computer can do. It comes with Android operating system.
Now since, this website is about android rooting tutorials, therefore in this article, we will show you how to root your Samsung Galaxy Tab 3.8.0.
Root Samsung Galaxy TAB 3.8.0
Before you begin, make sure everything is backe up. Like you have set up a backup already.
Next make sure your device is 75 % charged.
Also, install the device drivers before beginning as it’s imporant.
Things that are needed for you to download :
- 1. ODIN307.zip
- 2. TWRP_T31x_r3.tar
- 3. ROOT_SGT3_8.0.zip
Now its the time to
Install TWRP Recovery on the Galaxy Tab 3 8.0 :
Extract Odin307.zip to a folder anywhere. It can be desktop or any other place.
Copy TWRP_T31x_r3.tar to the folder where Odin307 was extracted.
Next double click to execute or open Odin3 v3.07.exe. It will start the odin program. It’s a tool.
Power OFF your device. Next its the time o put it into download mode. For doing this, press and hold the Home + Volume Down + Power buttons at the same time for 3-5 seconds. When you see the warning screen, hold off the buttons. It means you are done.
Now, connect your device to computer by a USB cable and let it install the drivers. Once connected the ID:COM field on Odin should light up.
Now select the TWRP_T31x_r3.tar in your Odin using PDA button .
Next wait for the PASS message to appear on Odin. Having viewed that pass message, TWRP is installed on your device.
Rooting the Samsung Galaxy Tab 3.8.0
1. Boot into the recovery by powering down the device. You can boot into recovery by pressing and holding the Power + Volume Up buttons. When you see the Galaxy Tab 3 splash screen, let go of the Power button but continue to hold or press the Volume Up button. Once you get to the TWRP recovery, take your fingers off the Volume button.
2. Now hold the tab in portrait mode, and tap on Reboot. It is on the bottom right of the screen. Then select System when the next menu comes.
3. You will be asked whether to install root or not. Accept it and your tab will reboot.
4. Follow the instructions on your screen once the device has rebooted.
Your TAB is rooted.
